Story of the week!!

Hey everyone, this week has been an exiting and unexpected week. The week started off pretty much the same as any other week. Got up around 7, had some time with Jesus until 9, had breakfast, and then started the remainder of the day. The only difference was instead of us staying at the base all day we went out and did ministry. Monday we went to Helen, Georgia and did street evangelism. We like to call street evangelism ATL, which means Ask The Lord. We have to completely rely on the Lord to guide us where he wants us and listen to what he wants us to do. We met a lot of cool people, which we shared the love of Jesus to and then prayed with them. We were sent out as teams of 2, which I think is so cool, since that’s how Jesus sent out his disciples in Mark 6. “Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭6‬:‭7. We went into one of the stores in the downtown area of Helen and was walking around looking and praying, asking the Lord what he wanted us to do. As we were about to walk out I look over and see a shirt that says “Holy Spirit activate”. From there God tells me to go and talk to the owner of the store. We go over and begin talking to the guy. Turns out he believes in Jesus and has a personal relationship with him. We continue talking to the guy and he begin telling us his story. He tells us how he came to Christ and all the amazing things God has done in his life. He then begins to tell us this story of how his wife was completely healed of a serious heart condition. God then reminds me of how he still down miracles and is more than willing. All he wants us to do is be obedient. When he says to go over and pray for someone, do it and trust that he is going to move. God is so good, he is still transforming our lives and the lives around us. Love you all and I hope y’all enjoyed this weeks story.
